How To Work With Tomoson As A Blogger

I began using Tomoson over a year ago, shortly after I started my blog.

My objective was to find a trustworthy and easy way to connect with companies.

I had tried other influencer sites before, but all of them seemed to be lacking something: opportunities.

Tomoson is the only influencer site that has new product review opportunities available for bloggers every day.

The best part is that the Tomoson platform is very easy to learn and understand.

After connecting your blog and your social media accounts, you can apply for promotions immediately.

You will notice that each campaign has a set list of prerequisites, as chosen by the company for that campaign.

The prerequisites are based on your website and social media stats, like Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

There may be times where you are really interested in working with a company, but your stats just don’t match up.

Don’t worry!

All hope is not lost.

At this point, you can apply for the promotion and send a rebuttal message, stating the reasons why you would be a great fit for the promotion.

I personally suggest sending companies a message every time you apply for a promotion that you really want.

In my experience, 9 times out of 10, a personalized message to the company will get you approved for the promotions.

This will not only set you apart from other bloggers, it will also let the company know that you are enthusiastic about their products!

Setting Up Your Tomoson Profile

To make the most out of your experience with Tomoson, you need to set up your Tomoson profile.

This is important because it is the company’s first impression of you. It’s really simple to do. Just follow the steps below.

Upload a cover photo.

This should be something relative to the type of blogger you are.

It can be your blog name and tagline or a photo of something that relates to your blog.

For example, if you’re a food blogger, it can be an image of cupcakes!

Just make sure that the image fits well within the size.

If the image is too small it will be stretched and distorted.

When the image is too large, some of the image will be cut off.

Upload a profile picture.

This should be a nice headshot of you. It should be something appropriate and clear.

Add hashtags from social media posts.

Tomoson will automatically pull in social posts with these #hashtags every couple days and add them to your profile page.

This gives companies some insight into how you interact on social media.

The more you interact, the better your chances are of picking up some of the great Tomoson promotions!

Just like every other site, there are some kinks that need to be worked out.

I think that the communication between bloggers and Tomoson has a lot of room for improvement.

The time it takes to receive a response from Tomoson is way too long.

I think that a live support chat is something that Tomoson should really consider.

Since they are constantly growing on both ends of the spectrum (influencers and companies), it’s important that their customer service grows as well.

It takes influencers and companies to make Tomoson, so both sides need to be well taken care of.

Overall, Tomoson is a really great site for bloggers to connect with businesses.

They will continue to grow and succeed as long as they take all suggestions into consideration (maybe a specific email address for suggestions?).

I recommend Tomoson for any blogger wanting a protected way to communicate and work with companies.

For more tips and suggestions, join the Tomoson Bloggers Facebook Group.

It’s a group run by bloggers and for bloggers.

It’s a great way to get advice, connect with others Tomoson bloggers, and build your social media following.
