Textbroker

Textbroker is a middleman between the clients and the writers.

They have been around since 2008 and are very reputable.

Textbroker hires writers from beginners and up and your writing level will be determined once you are accepted.

When you apply with them, you have to submit a writing sample, which is used to determine your writing level.

Level 2 is the lowest and level 5 is the highest level, with level 2 paying 0.7 cents a word, level 3 paying 1 cent a word, level 4 paying 1.4 cents a word and level 5 paying 5 cents a word.

This is a an excellent way to get paid to write at home.

Writers are paid every Friday by PayPal as long as you have at least $10 in your account.

 

The Content Authority

The Content Authority hires writers who have excellent knowledge of the English language as well as good research skills and able to write at a high school level.

Pay will depend on what level the writer is, the type of article and how many words the article is.

The Content Authority pays by PayPal on a weekly basis as long as you have a minimum of $25 in your account.

To apply with them, you do need to submit a writing sample.

That sample will be used to determine the writing tier you will be assigned.

Most writers start off on Tier 1 or 2 and move up from there.

 

Word Gigs

Word Gigs hires both new writers as well as experienced writers.

The average article with Word Gigs is 350 words and earns the writer $4.50.

However, their elite writers earn considerably more, but it takes time to earn your way up to that level.

To apply with them, you create an account, take a spelling test and take a grammar test.

You must pass the test the first time, but it all high school level so it’s pretty easy for the most part.

Once you pass the test, there is a short training video you need to watch and then you get access to the site, where you choose the categories you are interested in.

Word Gigs pays twice a month by PayPal, on the 1st and 16th.

 

Writer’s Domain

Writer’s Domain pays writers $20 for 400 word articles and $40 for premium 600 word articles.

While this is a high rate for writers, the articles must be high quality.

This is a good option to get paid to write at home.

They pay writers on the 5th of every month by PayPal. However, you can request payment at any time once you have at least $100 in your account.

You choose the articles you want to write and then submit them for the editors to review.

To apply with Writer’s Domain, you need to register with them, submit a writing sample and take a timed grammar test.

 

Writer Access

Writer Access is another site you get paid to write at home and assigns you to a writing level when you apply and you are paid based on that level.

The levels range from 2 through 5 and your writing level can be raised and lowered at any point.

Writer Access pays twice a month, by PayPal as long as you have at least $10 in your account.

To apply with them, you need to fill out a basic application, submit a writing sample and submit your resume.

Upon acceptance, you can log in and see what jobs are available based on the writing level you have been assigned.

So you can see here that to Work At Home As A Writer has a lot of opportunities and you should investigate them all before making a decision.
