I am writing this post as much for me as it is for you. I was in a forum on Facebook the other day that was titled sponsored post taking too long and I thought YES!! While we didn’t have any solutions, it was nice to see that its not just me. So- I dug in (into my mind) and found the real reasons.
I feel like I am having a harder & harder time getting my work done. I am getting distracted easily. I am finding myself off in a conversation on Facebook (it started out as a work conversation but took a turn to a fun chit-chat), I am pinning content (again, it started out pinning my recent post & ended up pinning everything and reading them all, too!)
So, what can I do about it?
1). Turn off Facebook! Just turn it off until you are finished with the task at hand.
2). Do not do anything else until you have:
a- written the post
b- made the image
c- published or scheduled the post.
3). What I am trying to do lately is to do EVERYTHING at once. I write, then edit, then add pictures, then publish and even share and give my reports back to the companies all in the same time frame.
So, if I go into my room to write, I will be done an hour later and not have to go back to ‘report your twitter URL with your social share’. etc… Its done.
4). Write them in your calendar (the plugin). I will write them in my calendar. This keeps me up to date with when things are due.

6- Make a checklist in your notes and keep erasing them as you go and adding new ones in place of those ones (because you will probably have new ones by the time the old ones are done).
7- Don’t check e-mails until you have one post done. I can get caught up looking at my emails for an hour if I allow myself.
