I have been working at home for close to seven years. In those seven years, it was easy to put on about 30 pounds. So let me tell you about losing weight as a Work at Home Mom.

Get in 10,000 Steps a Day
One of the best ways for me to lose weight has been getting more movement in.
I try to get anywhere between 5,000 to 10,000 steps in a day. By getting more movement in, I’m burning more calories.
I like walking because it’s easy, but it also burns more calories than regular exercise for me.
Eat as Healthy as Possible
Another reason I gained so much weight over the years is that I survived off eating my kids’ leftovers from their plate.
By eating healthier meals, I have been able to keep unwanted pounds off. For me, it wasn’t just about losing the weight, but about keeping it off.
Get the Whole Family on Board
Another way I have been able to lose weight as a work at home mom is by getting the whole family on board.
I don’t buy junk and I keep everyone on a healthy diet.
Yes, we treat ourselves and enjoy chocolate and ice cream, but it’s not an everyday sort of thing.
When my kids and husband are eating healthy, it makes it easier on me.
Plus, my family doesn’t mind eating healthy food, it’s just that I wasn’t putting it on the table.
