Luckily, my cousin is an accountant and quickly answers any questions I may have. however, she knows so much about my life, she usually just tells me what she is going to need. I wish I had tips to share, but I know nothing about this stuff!
I have done it all myself in the past, but last year was my first as a corporation and I was not so knowledgeable. This year I am going to pay an accountant. It’s too complicated and mistakes can be costly!
My husband usually does the taxes, but what he does is that he does it himself online and then the pays someone to do it. If the numbers don’t match up close enough he asks questions, that way he knows if he’s getting ripped off. His friend once lose over 5k because they types some numbers wrong! So my tip is… DOUBLE CHECK!
