Create Pool

Create Pool is a website where you are the expert. There are several different areas according to your expertise: programming, education, auto mechanics and legal. Basically, you just sign up and answer questions that people post. Experts on the site range from students to professionals. If you are chosen to complete the job and you do so satisfactorily, the funds are put into your PayPal account, minus a 20% service fee that Create Pool takes.

Directly

Directly is a website that is comprised of experts who are knowledgeable about different products, services and companies. People submit questions, you answer them and then get paid. Directly has been in business since 2011 and its headquarters is in San Francisco. When you apply and are accepted as an expert in a particular area, you will get a mobile alert when a customer has a question. The tricky part about Directly is that it is a free service, but those asking the questions are encouraged to provide cash awards so they can get a better answer. There are times when customers will leave tips as well for you. People that pay to have their questions answered do so because they are guaranteed an expert with a high rating and their question will be answer quickly. Whatever you get paid, you take half and Directly takes the other half. Payments are made through PayPal and you can cash out once you have at least $2 in your account. To apply with them, all you need to do is create a profile and link your Facebook account to it. You can also link to your LinkedIn account as well. This is done so they can verify your expertise.

Ether

Ether is a site that features the slogan, “Sell What You Say.” So, how it works is that you sign up with them and you are provided an 800 number. People that need advice call your 800 number and you are paid for providing advice in your area of expertise. You set your own rate and the customer must provide their credit card number before they can talk to you. Ether takes 15% of your earnings and you can get paid by direct deposit or by check. You also get to choose the hours that you wish to take calls and you can switch off and on whenever you wish. When someone calls you, you can either take the call right away and get paid, take the call within three hours or refuse the call. Though you do have to do your own promoting.

Experts 123

Expert 123 has two sections: question/answer and articles. With the articles, you can earn money through upfront pay and revenue share and with the question/answer, you get paid for providing expert advice. The pay rate varies for upfront pay according to the client and with revenue share, you are paid a certain amount per page views. With Experts 123, you are paid monthly by PayPal and must have at least $20 in your account to get paid.
