Spring Break Begins

best spring break activities for kidsI am the mom of 4 wonderful little boys.  Two of whom are in full-time school.  Today (Saturday) was our first day of spring break.

Despite taking the kids to Ikea for breakfast and a play in Smalland, taking two to three walks (some children did more walking than others) and spending a bunch of ‘quality time’ playing with the kids, I still feel like I spent the day trying to keep them entertained and away from the TV and Video Games.  It was torturous, for me and for them.

So, upon browsing all my favourite places, including StumbleUpon and Pinterest, I have come up with some good ideas on how to fill the rest of my TWO WEEKS!!!!!

First, I found this one:

I also found a site called Irrisistable Ideas, that has a ton of (sometimes messy) play based activities, both indoors and outdoors.  I could get lost on this site!

And for the times when I really need a break, I found ‘Top 50 Sites for Your Kids-The Amusement Park of the Web’.

I would love to hear about your activity suggestions for me this Spring Break.
