Gravatar is a must for any small business owner, blogger and someone who’s name is their brand.
What is Gravatar?
Gravatar is a little image which you connect to your email address. Whenever you comment on a blog which uses Gravatar (like ours) or go on a web site or forum that has it your image will pop up beside your comment.
Why do I need it?
Brand recognition. Your Gravatar could be your logo or a picture of you. Whenever you comment, readers will see your image (in my case I use my store’s logo) and after some time they will connect you to your image.
How do I know if I have it and what does it cost?
Well, first Gravatar is free! If you are unsure if you have a Gravatar image write us a comment below. If you see and image beside your name you have already set up a Gravatar. If you only see ‘phantom man’ (or a grey silhouette) you do not have one set up.
Setting up a Gravatar is easy. Go to their website and enter your email next to the big green button. It is very easy to set up. There are great step-by-step instructions.
