Show off your Instagram feed here we show you How To Add Your Instagram Photos to your Blog Sidebar.
Instagram is a very simple yet powerful app for businesses to take advantage of.
Having your Instagram photos displayed on your blog or website’s sidebar is a great way to add a personal touch or different approach to advertising.
Once there, the first step is to click on the red Login button. Log into your Instagram account.
You will then click on the Tools tab to get started.
Scroll down to the second tool listed which is Instagram Gallery for Your Blog/Website.
Next – How To Add Your Instagram Photos to your Blog Sidebar
Type in your username and change any settings you want.
If you are not sure about the settings, I recommend just leaving them as is for now.
Click on the Preview button to see how it looks and if you are happy with it then click on the Generate Code button.
A box will pop up and you will just copy/paste this code into a text widget on your dashboard.
If you have a WordPress blog like I do then you will be doing so via the Dashboard>Widgets>Text.
Copy and paste the code from Webstagram into the text box and save.
You should be able to visit your site and see your new widget.
If it looks great, then you are done!
If you need to change the size or layout of the images then go back to Webstagram and do so.
Just remember to generate the new code and copy and paste it to your text widget.
Very helpful. I have been wanting to do this.
Glad it was helpful Megan!
I’ve been wanting to do this, too! Thanks for the tutorial!
Your’re Welcome Donna! Figuring this out was on my to-do list for a while 🙂
I’ve heard this question from other bloggers several times before. I’ll be sure to direct them to this post next time. 😀
TIA for the referrals Karen!
Great tips! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks and you’re welcome Stephanie!
I have been wanting to do this but haven’t had a chance to figure it out. Thanks for this and I am pinning it so I can get this setup.
Jennifer it actually took me a lot longer to figure out how to do this than to actually do it. The internet can be a confusing place sometimes…
Ugh! I wish I had discovered this before I installed Instagram photos on my sidebar. I can’t tell you how many plugins I went through trying to find the right one! I will certainly share this when I’m next asked for a recommendation. Great tip!
Natalie I went through several plugins too and just couldn’t get them to work correctly!
Awesome! Thanks!
🙂
I’ve had mine in my sidebar for a few months and love it, it gives another personal touch to my blog 🙂
I didn’t know you could do this! Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks for this tutorial…I’ve been thinking about this!! Pinning!
I’ve been wondering how to do this. It worked! Thank you for the tips. Have a blessed day!
GREAT information; thank you SO much!! I bookmarked this page because I will be following your instructions to a tee over the next couple weeks as I tweak some of the things I know I need to get up-to-speed on. Your outside-of-the-box concept aligns with my site’s “step outside of the circle” slogan… great minds think alike; lol! 😉
I’ve had so much trouble trying to figure this out; thanks for the tutorial & for showing me this site–it looks so much easier than what I’ve been trying to use!
